Stephanie + Josh [The Proposal] | Orange County Engagement Photography

It’s not that often that you get to participate in monumental moments of others, like getting engaged. And when they are some of your dearest friends, it makes it that much more special! Josh planned a surprise engagement for Stephanie and lucky for us, we were there to document it. Hiding in the bushes all stealth like and documenting the moments.

We had been working with Josh for awhile to make this happen. You see, miss Stephanie is quite the detective, and if anything seemed out of the norm, she would’ve been suspicious. So how do you get Stephanie down to the beach, dressed all cute, and expecting to possibly see Jerod and I?? You tell her she just signed up for a Mini Photo Session! Followed by excited can’t wait to take your picture its going to be so fun text messages, followed by, let me know if you need help with an outfit messages. And it all worked! So well, actually, that when they arrived, she decided to yell my name thinking we were hiding from her. Which made me think she saw me hiding. Which lead to me diving bombing into the near bushes. Oh the things we do for our friends ;O) Luckily she never saw me and the proposal went off without a hitch. Well, maybe a minor hitch. Josh, remember that whole “draw an arrow on the ground so I know which direction to face” thing we talked about?? LOL Josh may have forgot to look at the arrow, but he did remember to say Will You Marry Me!

The location. How amazing?! Josh had Steph’s favorite flowers, pink daisy’s, tied to each of the posts, with candles lining the walk way. Totally romantic. Totally perfect.
